The tenure may be extended depending on performance and budgetary constraints. Minimum Qualifications: The candidate should have a good academic record, with at least a second class Master’s degree in Statistics or Quantitative Economics and at least three years experience in data collection and analysis related to agriculture and rural development. A good knowledge of computer software and econometric packages like EVIEWS, STATA and SPSS is also essential. Desirable qualification: M.Phil in Agricultural Economics and publications. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the above position, if circumstances so warrant. Currently employed candidates should apply through proper channel.
